Greenland, NH -- June 7, 2006 -- Great Bay Software Inc. today announced the company's participation in the upcoming seminar titled "The Realities and Myths of Network Admission Control (NAC)" at the Museum of Science in Boston, MA on June 27, 2006. The speakers for the upcoming event include; Patrick Gray (Senior Security Strategist, Cisco Systems), Russell Rice (Director of Network Admission Control, Cisco Systems), and Steve Pettit (President, Great Bay Software). The event is focused on providing a clear message on the direction of NAC products from Cisco Systems and the benefit to Enterprise customers exploring authentication strategies. Great Bay Software's presentation will focus on the incremental steps to a successful NAC deployment.

Great Bay Software's Beacon System for Endpoint Profiling
Great Bay Software's Beacon was developed to enable the deployment of Network Admission Control, network-based authentication, and trusted computing, to dramatically reduce the time and cost associated with the deployment of these technologies, and to support the compliance efforts of Enterprise networks.

Using the concept of Endpoint Profiling, the Beacon system identifies all network attached endpoints by location and type, a requirement for any company looking to deploy NAC and/or 802.1X.
